Iris Bayer (they/them) is an artist and maker located in Tiohtià:ke/Montréal. They are guided in their practice by waste materials, allowing the materials and their limitations to dictate the objects they create. Iris creates architecturally intriguing pieces, inspired by a love of experimentation and invention. They enjoy engaging with a variety of media and learning about the processes involved to transform these materials through trial and error and community-based learning.
