Auseklis, meaning star in Latvian, is a mirror with the frame constructed from four pieces of aluminium welded at the seams. Taking inspiration from traditional Latvian woven belts, which are stitched with repeating geometric patterns, the frame has scratchy and imperfect stars engraved around the border.
